Centre clears transfer of Justice Om Prakash Shukla from Allahabad to Delhi High Court

Justice Shukla took oath as a permanent judge of the Allahabad High Court on March 21, 2024.

The Central government has cleared the transfer of Justice Om Prakash Shukla from the Allahabad High Court to the Delhi High Court.

In its meeting held on May 26, the Supreme Court Collegium recommended his transfer.

Justice Shukla was enrolled as an Advocate with the UP Bar Council in 2003.

He practiced in a wide range of matters including Civil, Service, Constitutional, Revenue, Criminal, and Miscellaneous cases before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad (Lucknow Bench) and the Delhi High Court.

He was appointed as an additional judge of the Allahabad High Court on August 3, 2022, and took oath as a permanent judge on March 21, 2024.
