Justice Vimal Kumar Yadav sworn in as Delhi High Court judge

Delhi High Court Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya administered the oath to Justice Yadav.

Judicial officer Vimal Kumar Yadav was sworn in as a judge of the Delhi High Court on Tuesday.

Delhi High Court Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya administered the oath to Justice Yadav.

With this appointment, the strength of judges at the High Court rose to 44 as against the approved strength of 60 judges.

The Supreme Court collegium had recommended judicial officer Yadav's name on July 28.

Thereafter, on August 8, the Central government cleared his name for appointment as a judge of the High Court.
