A Delhi court has accepted the closure report filed by the Delhi Police recommending cancellation of the sexual harassment case filed by a minor female wrestler against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. .Singh is the former head of the Wrestling Federation of India and an ex-member of parliament (MP) from the Bharatiya Janata Party. .Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Gomati Manocha of the Patiala House Courts accepted the report and closed the case.As per the latest available information on the Court's website, the case has been cancelled. .The underage wrestler had levelled allegations against Singh, but withdrew them later. Police filed a cancellation report in the case. The girl and her father had appeared before the Court and expressed satisfaction with the police investigation. They did not oppose the cancellation report. .Meanwhile, there is another case pending against Singh where a group of women wrestlers have accused him of sexual harassment. He has been charged with the offences of sexual harassment and outraging the modesty of women in those proceedings.
