Vinayak Savarkar defamation: Lucknow court imposes ₹200 fine on Rahul Gandhi for non-appearance

A court in Lucknow on Wednesday imposed costs of ₹200 on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for non-appearance in a case filed over allegedly derogatory remarks made by him against Vinayak Damodar Savarkar during his 2022 Bharat Jodo rally in Maharashtra.
