Their itinerary included a stop in Pahalgam where they stayed on April 21 and visited various local attractions.The judges and their families left Pahalgam around 9:30 AM on April 22 and proceeded to Srinagar, which is about 90 kilometers away.They had reached Srinagar by noon a few hours before the attack took place at Pahalgam later that day..News that the judges were in the region around the time of the attack led to concern in legal circles. However, it was later confirmed that they had already departed Pahalgam and were unharmed.
