Supreme Court stays recruitment of judges in Gujarat
The Court questioned the hurry in recruitment of the judges when a matter related to the eligibility is pending before a three-judge Bench of the top court.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the process initiated by Gujarat High Court for recruitment of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC)/Civil Judges in the State without prescribing a minimum period of law practice as eligibility criterion.
