The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has announced the nomination of Supreme Court Justice Surya Kant as its next executive chairman..The nomination was made by President Droupadi Murmu under the powers conferred by Clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, and will take effect from May 14.
