Supreme Court allows plea by M3M for substitution of property worth ₹317 crore attached by ED

The Court said that the substitution was allowed keeping in mind the particular facts and circumstances of the case and will not be treated as a precedent.

The Supreme Court on June 30 allowed real estate major M3M India to substitute property attached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), enabling the company to resume work on a key commercial project [M/S M3M India Pvt. Ltd. & Anr. vs. Union of India & Ors.].
