Plea in Supreme Court against use of ‘Bulldozer Justice’ to target homes of accused

The petitioners from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh approached the court after their houses were bulldozed by concerned State governments.

Two plea have been filed before the Supreme Court seeking directions to the Central government and States to refrain from bulldozing homes or shops of accused in criminal proceedings as extra-legal punitive measure.
