PIL filed before Delhi High Court against Delhi Police power to take down online content

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued notices to the office of the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi and the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) over a plea challenging a notification empowering Delhi Police to issue notices for the removal of online content [Software Freedom Law Centre, India v State of NCT of Delhi & Ors].
