Parties can mutually seek clarification from arbitrator even after 30 days: Supreme Court

The Court also clarified that when an arbitral award grants a post award interest, it should be calculated as a percentage on the principal amount and pre-award interest.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that parties to an arbitration can seek clarification from the arbitrator beyond the legally stipulated period of 30 days if it is mutually agreed by them.
