Lovely morning of wonderful cricket played by both teams...It’s also my first time playing cricket!" she added..Winning team captain Ashima Mandla remarked that the victory was not just about the runs they chased or the wickets they took, but about the growing strength of women's cricket."We are incredibly proud to win the 1st Match in the Inaugual SCAORA Women’s Cricket Tournament after a hard-fought and thrilling chase of 180 runs. It was a challenging target, but every single player in our team showed immense grit, focus, and belief from the first ball to the last. Special mention has to go out to Ankita Chaudhary Rathi for her incredible 111 in 58 balls, along with an innings stabilising innings by Riddhi Sancheti for a valuable 42 runs which clinched the match.
