The Madras High Court recently disposed of a public interest litigation (PIL) petition seeking a probe into the death of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) told the Court that the petitioner’s representation for probe will be examined on merits.
