The Bombay High Court recently held that the shares owned by the late industrialist Ratan Tata (both listed and unlisted shares), which were not specifically distributed in his will, would be inherited equally by the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation and the Ratan Tata Endowment Trust [Shireen Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy and Ors v Jamsheed Mehli Poncha & Ors]
