What is UP's litigation policy? Allahabad High Court asks in 33-year-old case
The trial of the 1991 case, which began in 1994, is yet to conclude. The Court has asked the State to indicate the litigation policy of Uttar Pradesh in dealing with such cases in which there has been delay.
The Allahabad High Court recently asked the State authorities to explain delays noticed in concluding the trial in a criminal case registered three decades ago, in 1991 [Madhukar Sharma v. State Of U.P. And Another].
