Supreme Court directs Maharashtra Election Commission to notify local body polls within four months
Earlier, the top court in August 2022 had directed the Maharashtra government and the election commission to maintain the status quo regarding the local body elections.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Maharashtra State Election Commission to announce local body elections in the State and conclude the same within four months.
