
The Central government today notified the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Delhi High Court.
The three judicial officers are:
Shail Jain;
Madhu Jain and;
Vinod Kumar.
An announcement in this regard was made by the Union law minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on X.
The Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai and also consisting of Justices Surya Kant and Vikram Nath had recommended the appointment of the three judges earlier this month.
With the appointments, the strength of judges at the High Court will rise to 43 as against the approved strength of 60 judges.
On Monday, six judges had taken oath at the Delhi High Court.
