Bombay High Court slaps ₹5 lakh costs on litigant who challenged law on immunity to judges
The Court found that the litigant had made baseless allegations of bias against NCLT members, that she had engaged in forum shopping and wasted judicial time.
The Bombay High Court on Friday dismissed a petition challenging the constitutionality of the Judges (Protection) Act, 1985, a law meant to protect judges/ judicial officers from frivolous cases.
