
The Dhirubhai Ambani University - School of Law has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Law Institute (ILI), Washington DC, for international legal training and development.
The MoU signifies a robust academic partnership grounded in mutual collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a shared commitment to excellence in legal education, international development, and capacity building.
The agreement was formally signed by Deputy Director, ILI, Robert Sargin, in the presence of Chairman, Prof Don Wallace Jr, and President, ILI, Stuart Kerr.
Representing the Dhirubhai Ambani University - School of Law was Founding Faculty Member, Former International Civil Servant, Prof (Dr) Manuj Bhardwaj, with Founding Director of the School of Law, Prof (Dr) Avinash Dadhich, who was instrumental in advancing the partnership.
As part of the MoU, the institutions have committed to advancing a wide array of cooperative initiatives, including
Student and professional exchange programs to offer immersive international learning experiences.
Faculty exchange and visiting scholar opportunities to promote cross-border academic collaboration.
Joint technical assistance projects for governments and institutions in need of legal expertise.
Collaborative capacity-building programs aimed at public and private sector leaders.
Co-hosted conferences, workshops, and symposia to foster dialogue on pressing legal and policy issues at a global level.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives from both institutions emphasized the MoU’s long-term vision to bridge legal education and practice across jurisdictions.
