Delhi High Court restrains Mamagoto, Dhaba, Sly Granny from playing PPL's songs

The Court restored an interim injunction order in favour of PPL in a copyright infringement suit against restaurants that were playing its songs without license.

The Delhi High Court recently restored an interim order restraining Azure Hospitality Private Limited, which runs several restaurants including Mamagoto, Dhaba and Sly Granny, from playing songs owned by Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) at restaurant premises [PPL vs Azure Hospitality Private Limited & Ors].
