The Delhi High Court has released Draft Arbitration Rules of 2023 with respect to practice and procedure relating to the matters governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and has invited objections to the same..The objections may be sent to the e-mail jr-rules.dhc@gov.in latest by July 5. The Draft Rules lay down the procedure to be followed at the time of moving petitions and application under the Arbitration Act. Further, it clarifies the procedure to be followed regarding formation of the arbitral tribunal, functioning of the arbitral tribunal and nomenclature for filing among other things.
