The Delhi High Court on Wednesday refused to entertain a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) alleging that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi allowed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia and his family to reside in a bungalow allotted to her..The Bench of Acting Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela remarked that in case of violation of any rules, the concerned authorities are fully competent to take the requisite action."We do not consider it apposite to pass any orders in the petition," it ordered..The PIL was moved by one Sanjeev Jain, who claimed to be a social worker. It claimed that Sisodia's entire family continued to reside in the government bungalow despite his arrest in the Delhi excise policy case in March 2023.The bungalow was allotted to Atishi when she was only a minister in the government, as per the plea. She took over as the Chief Minister when AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post.Jain in the PIL sought action against Atishi and recovery of damages for violation of the rules.
