In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, the Karnataka High Court has exempted its staff from marking biometric attendance until further orders..A circular issued on March 11 by Registrar General of the High Court Rajendra Badamikar reads, "All the officers/officials working at the High Court of Karnataka, Principal Bench, Bengaluru and Benches at Dharwad and Kalaburgi are hereby exempted from marking biometric attendance to avoid the potential spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19) until further orders.".Further, all officers are directed to mark their attendance punctually in the attendance register maintained in the respective branches, the circular states. .On a related note, the Delhi High Court today asked the Centre and Delhi government to review their preparedness to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak.
