The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of eight judicial officers as judges of the Gujarat High Court. .The recommendation was made in a Collegium meeting that took place on March 19. The judicial officers proposed for appointment as Gujarat High Court judges are:1. Liyakathussain Shamsuddin Pirzada,2. Ramchandra Thakurdas Vachhani,3. Jayesh Lakhanshibhai Odedra, 4. Pranav Maheshbhai Raval, 5. Mool Chand Tyagi,6. Dipak Mansukhlal Vyas,7. Utkarsh Thakorbhai Desai, and 8. Rohenkumar Kundanlal Chudawala.The Gujarat High Court presently has a working strength of 32 judges, as against a sanctioned strength of 52 judges.
