The Central government on Friday cleared the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Karnataka High Court..The recommendation was made following a meeting of the Collegium held on Monday (September 15).The following judicial officers have been elevated to the High Court:(i) Geetha Kadaba Bharatharaja Setty;(ii) Muralidhara Pai Borkatte; and(iii) Tyagaraja Narayan Inavally..The Central government has also notified that additional judge Justice KV Aravind be made a permanent judge.At present, the Karnataka High Court has a sanctioned strength of 46 judges against the approved strength of 62.
