AKS Partners is looking to hire Principal/ Senior Associates in Delhi.

Number of Positions: 2 (two)

Position: Principal Associate/ Senior Associate

PQE: 4-7 years

Location: New Delhi

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in the legal field, with a focus on Corporate and M&A transactions.

• Strong academic background with a degree in law from a reputable institution.

• Must have experience with mergers and acquisitions transactions, substantial drafting experience, be able to lead closings and handle diligence for deals.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. 

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Job Description 

• As a Principal Associate/ Senior Associate at AKS Partners, you will play a crucial role in our corporate practice, focusing on matters related to corporate and M&A transactions.

• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and other ancillary documents.

• Drafting and reviewing various agreements like Master Service Agreement, Technology License, EPC and Turnkey Contract, Lease Deed, Conveyance Deed, Partnership Agreement, Collaboration Document, Settlement Deed, Framework Agreement, Service Contract, Term Sheets, Power Purchase Agreements, Contract Manufacturing etc.  

• Conducting Due Diligence for bringing in foreign investments for client companies, which includes checking secretarial records, financial documents, land records and other statutory records.

• Staying abreast of developments in corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and global M&A trends and actively contributing to thought leadership initiatives through publications, presentations, and speaking engagements.

Remuneration: As per industry standards.
