S&R, TT&A, ALMT, Desai, Trilegal, Linklaters act on Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company ~₹2,515 crore proposed IPO

Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited has proposed an initial public offering, comprising an offer for sale of 237,500,000 equity shares, aggregating to ₹2,515.95 crore.

S&R Associates is advising the Company on this IPO.

The transaction team was led by Sandip Bhagat (Partner), Juhi Singh (Partner) and Shiv Bhargava (Counsel), and included Associates Akshaya Rengan, Ayushi Shrivastava, Utkarsh Mani Tripathi and Shivesh Didwania.

Prateek Sharma (Counsel) and Sourav Kumar (Associate) advised on corporate and insurance matters.

TT&A is advising one of the promoter selling shareholders, HSBC Insurance (Asia-Pacific) Holdings Limited, on this IPO.

The transaction team consists of Abhinav Kumar (Partner), Kunal Thakore (Partner), Deepa Christopher (Partner), Shubham Sancheti (Managing Associate) and Associates Abhishek Iyer and Pranav Kandada.

ALMT Legal, Bangalore is also advising the Promoter Selling shareholders on this IPO.

The transaction team consisted of Rajat Bopaiah (Senior Partner), Souvik Paul Mazumdar (Senior Partner), Natasha Ponnappa (Principal Associate), and Associates Nikhil Krishna and Adhithyaa Vishal.

Desai & Diwanji is advising investor selling shareholder Punjab National Bank on this IPO.

The transaction team consisted of Tushar Dey (Senior Partner), Akshay Bhagchandani (Associate Partner) and Mahimna Dave (Associate).

Trilegal is advising the syndicate of book running lead managers, namely SBI Capital Markets Limited, BNP Paribas, HSBC Securities & Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, JM Financial Limited, and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited.

The transaction is led by Richa Choudhary (Partner), with support Maitreya Rajurkar (Counsel), Sanya Chaudhari (Senior Associate), Shivayana Balodia (Senior Associate) and Associates Siddhant Mishra, Deepanshu Agarwal, and Yatin Shikarpuri.

Linklaters is serving as the international legal counsel for the BRLMs.
