Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India acted as the legal advisor to Bear House Clothing Private Limited in a Series A investment of ₹50 crore from JM Financial India Growth Fund III (acting as the lead investor), with participation from Dexter Ventures.
The transaction was led by Partner Pradnesh Warke, with assistance from Associate Ravi Raj Shekhar.
The investment is earmarked for expanding the brand's offline presence, enhancing branding efforts, and bolstering working capital. The company plans to open 20 stores across India over the next two years, having recently launched its first physical store in Bengaluru.
This funding round follows a ₹3 crore investment secured in March 2025 from Namita Thapar on Shark Tank India, which included ₹1 crore for a 1% equity stake and ₹2 crore as debt.
The Bear House has experienced significant growth, with net revenue expected to surpass ₹140 crore this year, reflecting over 40% year-on-year growth. The brand maintains a strong online presence through platforms like Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio, Tata Cliq, Nykaa, and Amazon, and is expanding into quick-commerce platforms such as Zepto.
The Bear House is a men’s everyday fashion and accessory brand selling premium casual work wear and accessories that blend style, comfort, and modern aesthetics. The brand has also appeared on the ‘Shark Tank India’ series.
