Goyel & Goyal acts on Phot AI $2.7 mn fundraise

Goyel & Goyal advised visual content startup Phot AI on its $2.7 million seed funding from Info Edge Ventures, Together Fund, and others.

The firm advised Phot.AI on all aspects of this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Akshit Goyal (Partner), Deepika Yadav (Partner), and Shubham S Agrawal (Senior Associate).

Aside from the Info Edge Ventures and Together Fund, the fundraise also saw a number of angel investors participating, including Saahil Goel and Akshay Ghulati (Shiprocket), Aakash Anand (Bella Vita), Arjun Vaidya (V3 Ventures), Prabhkiran Singh (Bewakoof), Puneet Gupta and Anmol Jain (Astrotalk), Sandeep Agarwal (Droom), Vishesh Khurana and Raj Snehil Juneja (Tribe Capital), and Pawan Gupta (Fashinza).

The newly secured funds will be utilized to expand the team, invest in research and development, and launch an AI-powered creative assistant copilot.

Founded in 2023 by Venus Dhuria, Aneesh Rayancha, and Akshit Raja, Phot.AI aims to transform e-commerce content creation by automating the production of product images, ad designs, and marketplace listings. The platform's AI agents are designed to analyze design performance across various product categories and marketplaces, enabling brands to produce high-quality visuals efficiently. This automation can reduce design costs by up to 80% and improve conversions by 40% through data-driven A/B testing.
