ELP acts on Bharat Forge acquisition of JS Auto Cast Foundry

Bharat Forge Limited has acquired JS Auto Cast Foundry India Private Limited, a Coimbatore-based casting and machining Company through its wholly-owned subsidiary - BF Industrial Solutions Limited for an undisclosed amount.

Economic Laws Practice advised Bharat Forge Limited and the team included Senior Partner Yashojit Mitra, Partner Vinay Butani, Senior Associate Rudraksh Bhatt and Associate Faiz Thakur.

The acquisition will help Bharat Forge expand its product portfolio in the industrial sector, customer base and manufacturing presence in South India.

Post the acquisition, JS Auto will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of BF Industrial Solutions Limited and a step-down subsidiary of Bharat Forge.
