CAM, TT&A, Hogan Lovells act on Capri Loans ₹2,000 crore QIP

Capri Global Capital Limited (Capri Loans) has made a qualified institutions placement of 136,518,770 equity shares of face value of ₹1 each at a price of ₹146.50 per Equity Share, aggregating up to ₹2,000 crore.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas were the legal counsel to Capri Loans.

The transaction team was led by Manan Lahoty (Partner, Head - Capital Markets) and Priyadarshini Rao (Partner), with assistance from Radhika Pandey (Principal Associate) and Associates - Adwait Deshmukh, Arjun Badola, Nayanika Gupta and Tejas Chhura.

TT&A advised the Book Running Lead Managers - ICICI Securities Limited, JM Financial Limited and Nuvama Wealth Management Limited, on this QIP.

The transaction team consisted of Abhinav Kumar (Partner), Shubham Sancheti (Managing Associate), Indira Satish (Senior Associate) and Keshav Yadav & Akshita Sharma (Associates).

Hogen Lovells (Middle East) served as the international legal counsel to the BRLMs.

The QIP, priced at ₹146.50 per share, saw participation from marquee investors including Quant Mutual Fund, BlackRock, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Life, SBI General Insurance, Tata AIF, Societe Generale, and Allspring. Notably, 3P Investment Managers, led by Prashant Jain, invested ₹150 crore via its Category-III AIF. The QIP was open from June 9 to June 12, with allotment finalised on June 12, 2025.

The proceeds will be used to strengthen the company’s capital base, expand its presence in lending segments such as MSME, gold, and affordable housing loans, and enhance its digital and tech infrastructure. Capri also aims to diversify its revenue through fee-based businesses like insurance and car loan distribution. Managing Director Rajesh Sharma called the fundraise a “significant milestone” in Capri’s journey toward becoming a tech-led, diversified financial services platform.
