Argus Partners advises Jungle Ventures on $18 mn investment in Waterfield Advisors

Argus Partners has advised Jungle Ventures on its $18 million investment in the Mumbai headquartered Waterfield Advisors.

The transaction team consisted of Abhinav Bhalaik (Partner), Vallishree Chandra (Partner), Himani Shah (Senior Associate), Kanishk Gambhir (Associate) and Priya Gala (Associate).

They were supported by the Due Diligence Team which consisted of Abhinav Bhalaik (Partner), Vallishree Chandra (Partner), Aayush Kumar (Partner), Himani Shah (Senior Associate), Rohan Aneja (Senior Associate), Kanishk Gambhir, Priya Gala, Vishakha Somani and Rohan Lodge (Associates)

The funding round comprised a $15 million primary infusion to enhance Waterfield's technology infrastructure and expand its presence across key financial hubs, with the remaining $3 million facilitating secondary transactions involving existing shareholders.

This strategic investment aims to deepen client engagement among India's affluent demographic, including business families, founders, professionals, and women, while extending services to tier-2 and tier-3 cities and global markets catering to the Indian diaspora. Ernst & Young (EY) acted as the exclusive advisor for this transaction.
