AQUILAW, S&R Associates act on Astrea securing foreign investment

Sallum Private Limited, a company engaged in the manufacturing and retail of vegan and natural cosmetics and skincare products under the brand name “Astrea”, has successfully secured investment from a foreign investor in their first investment round.

AQUILAW acted as the transaction counsel for Sallum and its promoters. The firm’s scope of work included the drafting, review, negotiation, and finalization of all key transaction documents, including but not limited to the Share Subscription Agreement, Shareholders’ Agreement, and the Founder Employment Agreement.\

The transaction team consisted of Suhana Islam Murshedd (Partner), Kanchan Modak (Principal Associate), Milind Anand (Associate) and Sakchi Agarwal (Associate).

Astrea Beauty is a Chennai-based skincare brand founded in 2019 by Sharon Natarajan. The brand specializes in handcrafted, vegan, and chemical-free products, drawing inspiration from the ancient Tamil Siddha system of medicine. Their product line includes cleansers, toners, moisturizers, serums, and eye care treatments, all formulated with natural ingredients and essential oils.
