Supreme Court website hacked? Site non-functional

Even as netizens clamour to catch a glimpse of the judgment in the Judge Loya case, the Supreme Court website has ceased to function.

The site has been offline since 12:15 pm today. Several Twitter users pointed out that the website was hacked, with this image showing:

The site seems to have been hacked by HighTech Brazil Hack Team, which hit hundreds of websites the world over in 2013.

Update – 2pm: Now the website has put a ‘site under maintenance’ banner.
