RecTracker: 31 students of NUALS 2020 batch secure placements; 2 bag LL.M. admissions abroad

The outgoing batch of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi has secured 31 placements this year at 17 law firms and companies across the country.

Of these, 7 organisations - ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, Wadia Ghandy, Ernst & Young, WNS Global, TLC Legal, and Veeksha LLP - participated in campus recruitment. The remaining 9 law firms made the hires following internships.

The press release issued by the NUALS placement cell further states that "this is a record placement number in the history of this Institution. No previous batches have secured the same."

Two students have also secured LL.M. admissions abroad at the London School of Economics and the University of Edinburgh.

The ongoing COVID-19 situation has affected the rising number of recruitments, the placement cell informed further.

In this regard, is stated that certain recruiters such as Axis Bank, LKS, Tree of Life Associates (Bangalore) & Manilal Kher & Ambalal (Mumbai) had earlier accepted the institution's invitation to recruit. However, the recruitment process has now been delayed.

The Core Committee of the Placement Cell this year comprised of Dhanya Prasad, Anuj Jain, Ajay Krishna, Gokul Ashok, BVN Sai Charan, and Aishwarya Ajayan, along with faculty advisor Dr. Mini S Thampi.
