Harvard Law School India-US Symposium underway in Delhi

An India-US Symposium organized by Harvard Law School in partnership with NITI Aayog and National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) is being held in Delhi from September 27-29.

Suhaan Mukerji’s PLR Chambers is Knowledge Partner

The event, hosted by Harvard Law School’s Program on International Financial Systems (HLS-PIFS), has law firm PLR Chambers as its Knowledge Partner. The firm’s Managing Partner Suhaan Mukerji is part of the Steering Committee for the symposium.

The symposium convenes policymakers, distinguished academics and financial leaders to discuss the most pressing issues that affect the global financial systems and the international capital markets. During the first edition held in January 2016, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was among the keynote speakers.

The second edition of the Symposium is being held in New Delhi from September 27 to September 29 at the Taj Palace Hotel.

The keynote speakers for this year’s event include Prof Hal Scott, Nomura Professor of International Financial Systems, and Director, Program on International Financial Systems at Harvard Law School; SEBI Chairman Ajay Tyagi; NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant; and Principal Economic Advisor, Ministry of Finance Sanjeev Sanyal, among others.
