Shashank Shekhar has joined DMD Advocates as a Partner in Indirect Tax Practice.

Shekhar is a 2003 graduate of the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.

Shekhar is a seasoned tax lawyer with over 20 years of experience. He began his career by gaining litigation experience in the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court working alongside a Senior Advocate for two and a half years. He possesses a wealth of expertise in the realm of indirect taxation, stemming from his tenure with prominent law firms specializing in the field.

His diverse clientele spans various sectors, including oil & gas, telecom, power, IT/ITeS, alcobev, broadcasting, consumer durables, FMCG, and more.

Shekhar brings onboard his colleague Tushar Joshi, Principal Associate, with a decade of experience in indirect tax litigation and advisory. Prior to joining DMD Advocates, both Shekhar and Joshi were working with Trilegal.
