JSA National Corporate Lead Iqbal Khan resigns to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas

Khan had joined JSA in June last year, after serving as an Equity Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

JSA Partner and National Corporate Lead Iqbal Khan has resigned from the firm to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Confirming Khan's exit, JSA Joint Managing Partner Vivek K. Chandy, said,

"Iqbal Khan has communicated his resignation to JSA. The exit modalities will be worked out mutually keeping in mind the interest of clients, teams involved and the firm. JSA has grown exponentially over the last 18 months and has integrated well with all its lateral partners who are aligned with the culture and values of the firm. The firm will continue to aggressively pursue its growth path and wishes Iqbal well."

CAM Managing Partner Cyril Shroff has confirmed the onboarding of Khan alongside majority of his team.

Khan is an alumnus of London School of Economics and Political Science. He earned his JD from Columbia Law School. He is a qualified to practice in India and New York.

Khan specialises in private equity investments, private and public mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and foreign investment laws. His expertise encompasses life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, media and entertainment, technology, financial services, consumer products, data center services, manufacturing and green investments.

He had joined JSA in June last year, after serving as an Equity Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.

Previously, he worked with Paul Weiss and Kirkland and Ellis in the United States before moving to India.
