The results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2018 have been published.

The results can be accessed here.

CLAT 2018, which was conducted by National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) on May 13, has been embroiled in controversy this year too with many candidates challenging the manner in which the exam was conducted.

Various students had moved the High Courts and the Supreme Court alleging that they faced serious problems in almost 200 Online examination centres. The alleged problems included power cuts, failure of log-in system, slow biometric verification, blank screens, substantial loss of time in system log-ins, frequent resetting of computer systems, hanging of computer systems, server shutdown and difficulties in moving from one question to another.

The Supreme Court had considered the grievances raised by these candidates and had directed NUALS to constitute a grievance redressal committee to look into the complaints raise by the candidates. The Court had, however, refused to stay the publication of results or order a fresh examination.

NUALS will now look into the complaints of the aggrieved candidates and submit a report in that regard to the Supreme Court on June 6.
