TT&A, LawNK, AZB lay out pitch for International Masters League cricket tournament

International Masters League is a multi-nation T20 championship played by retired international cricket players.

PMG Sports LLP (a partnership between Madison Group, Selvel One Group and Sunil Gavaskar), Sportfive and Sachin Tendulkar have entered into a joint venture for launching the International Masters League - a multi-nation T20 league championship played by retired international cricket players.

Talwar Thakore & Associates (TT&A) advised PMG Sports on the finalisation of the definitive agreement between PMG, Sportfive and Tendulkar. PMG Sports provides services for the commercial and operational aspects of the league including sourcing franchise partnerships, commercial rights partnerships and on-ground execution.

The transaction team consisted of Partners Feroz Dubash and Pratika Shankar, along with Senior Associate Chhavi Singhal.

LawNK Partners advised Sportfive on the finalisation of the definitive agreement between PMG, Sportfive and Tendulkar.

The transaction team was led by Parvati Bhati (Partner) and Srinivasan Saimani (Partner), with support form Abhinav Shrivastava (Partner), Roshan Gopalakrishna (Partner), Associates Ritu Eshwar and Sanjay Ravi.

The Firm was the lead counsel for the International Masters League and provided legal support to the operating entity in the undertaking of the IML.

AZB & Partners advised Sachin Tendulkar on the finalisation of the definitive agreement between PMG, Sportfive and Tendulkar.

The inaugural season of the International Masters League took place between February 22 and March 16, 2025, featuring six teams from India, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, England and Sri Lanka.
