Techno India University and Alliance Francaise du Bengale have formalized their commitment to fostering Indo-French linguistic and cultural exchange with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing the “Franco-Indian Centre of Excellence for Language and Culture”.
Triumvir Law assisted Techno India University on signing this MoU.
The transaction team consisted of Anubhab Sarkar (Partner), Aakash Parihar (Partner), Ragini Chakraborty (Senior Associate) and Arjun Krishnan (Associate).
A key outcome of this collaboration is the launch of AFdB’s Salt Lake Annex, which will provide students and individuals living in and around the Salt Lake, Kolkata with expanded opportunities to pursue their French language studies.
Techno India University, established in 2012 and located in Kolkata, West Bengal, stands as one of the first privately owned universities in the state. As the flagship university of the Techno India Group, the largest educational conglomerate in Eastern India, it boasts a significant presence with numerous colleges, schools, and upcoming medical colleges across the nation. Alliance Française du Bengale, established in 1947 in Kolkata, is a prominent institution dedicated to promoting French language and culture in the region. As part of the extensive global network of Alliances Françaises, it offers a wide range of French language courses for learners of all ages and levels, employing communicative and action-oriented teaching methodologies.
