Phoenix Legal advises on Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors collaboration with Amity University

The collaboration involved transfer of control of operations and management of RICS School of Built Environment in favour of Amity University.

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors ("RICS"), a global professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property, construction and associated environmental issues, has entered into a collaboration with Amity University.

Phoenix Legal advised RICS in this collaboration.

The transaction team included Manjula Chawla (Founding Partner), Ritika Ganju (Partner), Kripi Kathuria (Associate Partner) and Ashna Gupta (Associate).

The collaboration, among other things, involved transfer of control of operations and management of; and intellectual property in relation to, "RICS School of Built Environment" (SBE) in favour of Amity and extension of support for the development of SBE by RICS.

SBE is an industry-led academic institution that delivers specialised undergraduate and postgraduate programs to students aspiring to work in real estate, construction and infrastructure sector.
