Canarys Automations Ltd., a publicly listed company in India, has acquired Fortira Inc., a U.S.-based AI & ML technology company headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey.

NovoJuris Legal advised on the entire transaction for the buy-side —including structuring, due diligence and regulatory approvals—particularly around the overseas investment process and compliance under Indian and U.S. laws.

The cross-border transaction was led by Ashwin Bhat (Partner) and Richard Devlin (Partner).
