K Law, IndusLaw act on MediBuddy's Series C funding round

MediBuddy has raised US$125 million (approx ₹9.6 billion) through this round

Online health platform MediBuddy, operated by Phasorz Technology Pvt Ltd, has raised US$125 million (approximately ₹9.6 billion) in a Series C funding round.

The round was co-led by Quadria Capital and Lightrock India Holdings Limited.

K Law advised Lightrock India on the deal.

The transaction team consisted of Senior Partner Shwetambari Rao, Associate Partner Puneet Prabhakar, Associates Bharkavi S, Reuel Wilson and Sadia Akhter and Company Secretaries Sandeep Kulkarni and Harshita Vaishnav.

IndusLaw advised MediBuddy on this deal.

At a time when non-urban areas of the country have experienced huge digital adoption since the start of the epidemic in 2020, the company now intends to push deeper into tier-2 and lower cities in India.
