JSA advises Hinduja Tech on €20 million acquisition of Tecoism Group

JSA Advocates & Solicitors advised Hinduja Tech Limited has acquired Tecosim Group for approximately €20 million.

JSA advised Hinduja Tech with relation to the Indian leg of this acquisition deal. The JSA Transaction Team was involved in undertaking due diligence of the Indian subsidiary of Tecosim Group, structuring the India leg of the transaction including advising on issues pertaining to foreign direct investment, facilitating the negotiation, drafting and signing of documentation for the India leg of the global acquisition and support for the closing and post-closing activities.

The transaction team consisted of Trisheet Chaterjee (Partner), Sarvesh Kumar Saluja (Partner), Neeral Jain (Associate) and Purboday Patitunda (Associate).

They were supported by the Competition team consisting of Vaibhav Choukse (Partner), Ela Bali (Partner) and Faiz Siddiqui (Associate).

Hinduja Tech, established in 2009 and headquartered in Chennai, India, specializes in providing integrated product engineering and digital technology services to the automotive industry. As part of the multi-billion-dollar Hinduja Group, the company focuses on disruptive mobility segments, particularly in electric and autonomous vehicles.

TECOSIM Group, prior to its acquisition, was a prominent European engineering services provider specializing in virtual validation and body engineering. With a workforce exceeding 650 employees, TECOSIM operated across multiple countries, including the UK, Germany, Romania, Japan, and India.
