JSA advised and assisted ASG Hospital Private Limited (ASG) in acquiring a majority stake in Vedanta Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences Private Limited.

The deal involved transferring the eye care hospital to an entity acquired by ASG.

JSA assisted in advising on the transaction's structuring, due diligence, preparation, negotiation, and finalization of transaction documents.

The transaction team consisted of Rajul Bohra (Partner), Priyal Jain Somvanshi (Principal Associate) and Associates – Anmol Khurana and Ishani Moulik.

ASG Eye Hospital is a leading chain of super-specialty eye hospitals in India, known for its advanced ophthalmic care and cutting-edge technology. Founded in 2005 by a team of AIIMS-trained doctors, the hospital has expanded rapidly across multiple cities, providing specialized treatments for cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, and refractive surgeries like LASIK.

Vedanta Eye Hospital operates under Vedanta Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences Private Limited, a healthcare organization focused on providing advanced and affordable eye care services. Founded by AIIMS-trained ophthalmologists, the hospital is dedicated to offering specialized treatments for various eye conditions, including cataracts, refractive errors, and retinal diseases.
