Bar & Bench

Bengaluru-based online pharmacy PlatinumRx has raised $6 million in a funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners with participation from existing investor India Quotient.

Goyel & Goyal advised PlatinumRx on this fundraise.

The transaction team was led by Akshit Goyal (Partner), with support from Puja Saha (Counsel), Avinash Kumar (Senior Associate) and Sanjeevani Mehrotra (Associate).

PlatinumRx

Founded in 2024, by Piyush Kumar and Ashutosh Pandey, PlatinumRx is as a digital-first pharmacy with a focus on chronic-care patients who require recurring medication. The platform differentiates itself by recommending lower-cost generic and substitute medicines, with an emphasis on affordability in a price-sensitive market. Customers can upload prescriptions, order medicines, and access teleconsultation through its platform.

The fresh capital will allow PlatinumRx to increase its “dark store” network across major Indian cities. Dark stores are fulfillment hubs that enable faster delivery and better control of inventory compared to third-party pharmacy tie-ups.
