GameChanger, Thompson Legal, Indigenesis lead on Lumikai $1 million investment in Bombay Play

The funding round was led by and opened exclusively for Lumikai.

Mumbai-based social gaming startup Bombay Play has raised $1 million seed funding led by Lumikai Interactive Fund, a gaming and interactive media venture fund based out of India.

Lumikai announced its first gaming fund for India in August, and now it is making its first investment into Bombay Play. Lumikai led the round, joining existing investors Playco and Leo Capital.

GameChanger Law Advisors represented Lumikai as its India Legal Counsel on this transaction.

The transaction team was led by Founder Amrut Joshi along with Associates Srikanth Bhaskar and Aditi Sanghi.

Thompson Legal Associates represented Lumikai as its US Legal Counsel whereas Bombay Play was advised by Indigenesis Consulting.
