Begur & Partners advised Hatti Foods and Beverages Private Limited and its promoters in securing Series A Investment from Claypond Capital Partners Private Limited (Manipal Group) and Crest Opportunities Private Limited.

The transaction was led by Rajesh Begur, Managing Partner and Founder of Begur & Partners, who spearheaded the deal with his extensive experience in navigating complex transactions.

​Hatti Kaapi, established in 2009 in Bengaluru, India, is renowned for its authentic filter coffee. Starting with a single outlet in Gandhi Bazaar, the brand has expanded to over 115 stores across nine cities. In 2021, Hatti Kaapi secured ₹10 crore in pre-Series A funding to increase its retail presence to over 200 outlets and enhance its product line, including the 'Six Seconds' instant coffee. By December 2024, the company aimed to open an additional 45 stores in Karnataka within eight months and planned to expand into major Indian cities and international markets like West Asia, London, and Malaysia.

Claypond Capital Partners Private Limited serves as the family office of Ranjan Pai, Chairman of the Manipal Education and Medical Group.

Crest Opportunities Private Limited, previously known as Oracle Insurance Services Private Limited, was incorporated on March 11, 1999. It is a Mumbai-based financial services company.
