Antares acts on Flipkart's acquisition of Yaantra

E-commerce giant Flipkart Group has acquired Yaantra (Gadgetwood Eservices Private Limited.

Antares Legal represented private equity fund, Carpediem Capital Partners Fund I and the promoters of Yaantra.

The team advising on the mandate was led by Partner Siddharth Bhavnani, with Principal Associate Surbhi Kothiala, Senior Associate, Devanjali Rastogi and Associates Ayushi Berry, Charu Tripathi and Navya Mehrotra.

Partners Seher Ali and Surbhi Gupta also advised on other aspects of the transaction.

Yaantra repairs and sells refurbished consumer tech products such as smartphones and laptops. This acquisition will enhance Flipkart’s refurbishment business in the smartphone category and will provide an ecosystem that looks after the entire lifecycle of smartphones.
